ACADEMIC CURRICULUM - INTRODUCTION

Ballet Tech serves students in grades 4 - 8 with a rigorous curriculum in a small school setting.  Most classes have fewer than 25 students.  The academic curriculum follows the New York State Educational requirements supplemented with Spanish and Visual Arts.

May 22:  PTA Meeting, 6PM

May 27:  Memorial Day, No Classes

May 28 - 31:  Open Class Week (Academic and Ballet Classes)

June 1:  Open Audition

June 3:  Last Day of Level I
            NY State Science Exam - Written Portion (Grades 4 & 8)

June 6:  Chancellor's Conference Day - No Classes

June 10:  Noon Dismissal (Clerical Half-Day)

June 12:  PTA Meeting, 6PM

June 13:  Ballet Tech Foundation Gala - Joyce Theater, 8PM

June 14:  KIDS DANCE - Joyce Theater, 7PM

June 15:  KIDS DANCE - Joyce Theater, 2PM & 7PM

June 16:  KIDS DANCE - Joyce Theater, 12PM & 5PM

June 21:  Student Art Show

June 25:  Graduation, 10AM

June 26:  Last Day of School

July 8 - August 2:  BALLET SUMMER SESSION
